Northport is gearing up to host its annual Labor Day celebration on Monday, September 1, 2025, at the Town Park, with a full day of community fun, food, and festivities.
The day kicks off at 10:30 a.m. with the Chamber of Commerce Parade, featuring floats, music, and local groups marching through town. Parade sign-up forms are available at Rivers Edge 1 Stop. Following the parade, the Northport Community Service Club will serve up its famous beef BBQ starting at 3 p.m. Meals are $15 for adults and $10 for children ages 10 and under, while supplies last.
Other highlights include a log truck load of wood raffle, with the winner announced at the BBQ, and a 50/50 raffle where you don’t need to be present to win. The NCSC Beer Garden will be open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and the Medical Board will host an ice cream and pie social for those with a sweet tooth.
Festivities begin early with the Fire Hall Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, August 30, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., with donations accepted. Organizers invite everyone to come celebrate the holiday, enjoy great food, and spend the day with friends and neighbors.
